Glossary of Major Terms

1. Pedagogy - The method and practice of teaching, especially as an academic subject or theoretical concept. 
2. Standardized Test - Any form of test that requires all test takers to answer the same questions, or a selection of questions from common bank of questions, in the same way, and that is scored in a “standard” or consistent manner, which makes it possible to compare the relative performance of individual students or groups of students.
3. Student-Centered Learning - A learning model that places the student (learner) in the center of the learning process.

4. Learning Facilitator - One that helps to bring about an outcome (as learning, productivity, or communication) by providing indirect or unobtrusive assistance, guidance, or supervision

5. Collaborate - To work jointly on an activity, especially to produce or create something.
